At the Jerusalem Post’s Washington gala on Sunday night, Liora Rez, founder and executive director of StopAntisemitism, issued a stark warning about a conflict the Jewish community did not choose but is now fully engaged in fighting. Rez stated that the October 7 attacks sparked a "global wave of Jew hatred" and emphasized that her organization was prepared for this moment.

Since then, she told attendees, the organization have featured over 1,000 antisemites on its platforms. “Not just theorized about or quietly documented,” she says, “But publicly exposed, clearly and with evidence.” Rez explained that these exposures have led to tangible results: "About 400 of these haters have faced consequences, including layoffs, suspensions, and bans." She also mentioned that over 300 cases are still under investigation across various sectors, including universities, corporations, DEI departments, unions, hospitals, nonprofits, and even some federal agencies.

Additionally, five arrests have been made so far for threats and violence linked to this work. Rez concluded, “This is accountability. This is fighting back hard against the wave of hate that has engulfed the United States and the world."

Rez emphasized that campuses are among the most concerning areas, describing incidents where Jewish students were targeted in libraries, where faculty praised Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, where mobs shut down buildings, and where administrators hid. She said, “We stepped in,” and warned, “If you target Jewish students, your actions won’t remain unseen.”

Rez also stated that StopAntisemitism now runs one of the most effective enforcement operations in the U.S., monitoring campuses, online networks, activist groups, and officials in real time. However, she stressed that exposure alone isn't enough. Protecting the future requires action, accountability, and constant vigilance, because antisemitism is ongoing. Rez encouraged community involvement, urging everyone to participate actively, through pressuring institutions, communicating with officials, and confronting unsafe situations, to make a real difference and demonstrate that targeting Jews has consequences. To conclude, the former USSR refugee added, “God bless the United States. God bless Israel. Am Yisrael Chai.”
