During the Jerusalem Post Miami Summit, Bishop Robert Stearns- the founder and president of Eagles’ Wings, a Christian movement focused on Jerusalem and interfaith understanding- issued a clear warning: antisemitism and Jew-hatred, even when masked as theology or social justice, will not prevail.

Ultimately, he said, those forces of evil are on the wrong side of history. “Evil is not winning. Evil is losing miserably,” he said. “That is why their tactics are becoming so desperate.”

Inbar Ashkenazi, CEO of the Jerusalem Post, presented Bishop Stearns with the Shield of David Award, honoring his years of steadfast leadership and his commitment to strengthening the alliance between Christians, Israel, and the Jewish people.

Stearns, who has brought more than 40,000 Christians to Israel and hundreds of pastors, social media influencers, and leaders, was in Israel for the first ten days of the war and has brought 22 solidarity missions to Israel since October 7.

Stearns said that a new generation of Christians is alive today that wants to work together with the Jewish people to save Israel, America, and the West from “radical Islamic ideology, radical wokeism, communism, and an unholy alliance against Western civilization.” He spoke in favor of a “holy alliance of Jews and Christians working together for the betterment of all the human family. We have an opportunity not to be divided, but to be unified.”

Recalling the creation of the modern State of Israel, the rebirth of the Hebrew language, and the return of Jews from throughout the world to Israel, Stearns told the audience, “I want us to remember that we are living in the age of miracles.”

The shared history of Jews and Christians, he said, is one of miracles, of good versus evil, and of God coming to their aid. “With God’s help,” he concluded, “we will see Zion restored and Jerusalem become a house of prayer for all nations.”
