The Mankai super green is returning to the shelves, ending a prolonged shortage due to war damage and changes in company ownership. Over the past year, Hinoman has rehabilitated the Mankai growing greenhouses in Kibbutz Be’eri, which were damaged in the October 7 attack, and at the same time has restarted the manufacturing and packaging facility in Netivot.
Mankai, in its new form, is marketed in a new and sustainable package. Each package contains 20 frozen Superball cubes, each weighing 14 grams. The company recommends consuming two Mankai Superballs per day for optimal results and to maintain health.
Mankai is a powerful superfood with an exceptional nutritional composition, as proven in a series of clinical studies. It can be added to any drink or dish without significantly altering the original taste or texture. It is a tiny aquatic plant that serves as a rich source of iron, a plant-based source of active vitamin B12, and contains complete protein including all amino acids, antioxidants, folic acid, omega-3, dietary fiber, calcium, magnesium, and more.
Its unique properties have attracted great interest in the scientific community and are the focus of a long list of clinical studies at leading universities and research institutions around the world. These studies reveal its health benefits and the optimal absorption of its nutritional components in the human body. It has been found that incorporating Mankai into the daily diet balances blood sugar levels, reduces cholesterol, improves cardiovascular function, and detoxifies liver fat. It also improves the composition of the gut microbiome and may slow the brain aging process.
It is cultivated using precision and sustainable agriculture. The plant grows on water surfaces in advanced greenhouses in Kibbutz Be’eri. The greenhouses enable maximum utilization of natural resources: Minimal use of water and energy, without the need for agricultural land or human contact. The plant is harvested whole without waste and delivered to the customer at peak freshness and nutritional quality.
