ARC, the global innovation arm for healthcare transformation at Sheba Medical Center, ranked among the top ten hospitals worldwide, announced a collaboration with start-up Revealense, which has developed technology based on a neurological AI engine to analyze behavioral DNA from video recordings.
As part of the collaboration, a joint initiative will be established aimed at providing an advanced neurological diagnostic solution that enables accurate and clinically validated diagnoses for a wide range of neurological, cognitive, and developmental conditions, using a standard webcam from the comfort of the patient’s home.
The collaboration between ARC and Revealense heralds a new era in neurological diagnostics—digital, personalized, science-driven, and based on a neurological AI engine. This innovative model is expected to fundamentally change diagnostic standards, shorten the time to receive treatment, and provide more precise, effective, and personalized care for a wide range of neurological and developmental conditions.
The initial diagnostic protocols, led by Dr. Omer Bar Yosef, Director of the Child Development Center at Sheba Medical Center, will focus on autism, ADHD, and related conditions. Beyond dramatically reducing diagnosis time, the initiative also aims to enable earlier detection of syndromes and, potentially, even preliminary assessments of autism and other conditions as early as 6 to 12 months of age. In the future, the solution is expected to expand to allow diagnosis of a broader range of neurological conditions.
The new integrated clinical and technological solution will allow diagnostic assessments at home using a standard webcam, creating a more accessible and convenient process and enabling more accurate data collection by keeping participants in their natural environment.
Unlike conventional tools, the behavioral analysis platform will assess the individual’s condition, account for environmental influences, monitor changes over time, and recommend personalized treatment plans. Additionally, the system will establish the baseline condition of the participant prior to the assessment process, overcoming significant limitations in current neurological diagnostics.
ARC serves as a springboard for clinician-led technologies that transform care by identifying needs, connecting clinicians, entrepreneurs, and technologists, and promoting the development and implementation of new technologies from hospitals—both at Sheba Medical Center and across its global network of more than 300 hospitals in 12 countries. The collaboration with Revealense is part of a growing portfolio of clinician-led and clinically validated initiatives.
Dov Donin, founder and CEO of Revealense, stated: “The strategic collaboration between Revealense and Sheba’s ARC Innovation Center represents a profound shift in how we understand, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders. With computational models, deep psychophysiological measurements, and real-time monitoring, we are at the forefront of a clinical revolution.
This is not just new technology—it is a paradigm shift that can improve and even save lives while elevating the entire standard of diagnosis. We plan to accelerate development and regulatory processes in the coming months, aiming to reach the market in early 2026,” he added.
Avner Halperin, CEO of Sheba Impact at ARC, Sheba’s commercial arm, said: “The collaboration with Revealense aligns with ARC’s AI strategy and demonstrates our unique innovation model—connecting frontline clinicians, technological excellence, and robust infrastructure to launch technological initiatives. This partnership will enable a faster neurological diagnostic process with enhanced accuracy and reliability while improving accessibility by moving from clinic to home.”
Revealense, founded in 2021 by CEO Dov Donin, brings together experts in psychology, neuropsychology, artificial intelligence, computer vision, mathematics, and physics. Its patented platform, Illuminator, analyzes live or recorded video to detect subtle psychophysiological signals and generate dynamic mental profiles.
The system adapts to various contexts, ranging from emotional assessment to fraud detection, and applies tailored algorithms and cross-validation of results for high accuracy.
ARC, the innovation arm of Sheba Medical Center, founded and managed by Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, shapes the future of medical innovation by connecting entrepreneurs and clinicians, promoting the development and implementation of new technologies, and creating groundbreaking economic frameworks in healthcare.
ARC’s unique model—the first of its kind worldwide—has become a global standard, with a network of innovation centers in hospitals and leading research institutions in London, Melbourne, Singapore, Berlin, and New Zealand. ARC’s global network promotes technology-based medical solutions and accelerates innovation adoption in healthcare systems worldwide.
ARC provides start-ups and researchers exclusive access to Sheba’s core assets, clinical data, and medical talent, while advancing the hospital’s vision to serve as a global center for AI-driven preventive medicine. The success of the model has already led to exits totaling approximately $1 billion, with profits reinvested to further accelerate Sheba’s AI and data revolution.
