Fattal Hotels is expanding its operations in Jerusalem with the launch of a new luxury boutique hotel. Nucha, an adults-only hotel from the Fattal Colors collection, opens on Ben Sira Street with an investment of approximately NIS 150 million, offering an exceptional hospitality experience in the historic and vibrant center of the city.
The hotel is located near Independence Park, close to Ben Yehuda Street Mall, Zion Square, Mamilla, the Old City, and Mahane Yehuda Market – an ideal location for guests seeking an intimate and elegant hospitality experience.
The hotel draws inspiration from the figure of Nucha, the mother of the Gabso family, the entrepreneurs behind the hotel’s establishment. Nucha, born in colonial Tripoli, absorbed both Eastern and Western cultures – the colorful Oriental style of North Africa on one hand, and Italian dominance and classic elegance on the other.
86 Designed Rooms and a Stunning Rooftop
Nucha Boutique Hotel offers 86 meticulously designed rooms, divided into several categories including a luxurious suite, combining traditional Jerusalem architecture with contemporary and clean modern design. The hotel was designed by Feigin Architects, with interior design handled by ARA from London.
One of the hotel’s main attractions is the luxurious rooftop, which, in addition to offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the magical city, also features an impressive swimming pool, a cozy seating area, and the highlight: the Nucha Rooftop Bar – a Jerusalem bar serving unique cocktails alongside a variety of colorful and special tapas. The bar is created by Peacock from Oren Deutsch and Yonatan Shweiki.
Zahara Restaurant – the Little Sister of Angelica
The new chef’s restaurant Zahara, located in Nucha Hotel, is the little sister of the highly acclaimed Jerusalem restaurant Angelica, which has been operating for 16 years. Zahara brings a youthful, contemporary, and experiential approach with an urban twist.
Chef Roy Achdut offers a refined yet generous Mediterranean cuisine, combining classic French techniques with Asian influences and flavors from around the world. The kosher and seasonal kitchen offers a diverse menu of fish, meat, and vegetables that change according to the season.
At the restaurant, the traditional "starter-main-dessert" order is replaced with a "sharing is caring" experience – a cheerful table with dishes to share. The heart of the restaurant is the open kitchen, visible to diners, creating a direct connection between the food and its makers.
Michael Yitzhakov, CEO of the Tourism Ministry, said: "The Tourism Ministry is working to expand the supply of accommodation and strengthen the tourism industry in Jerusalem and throughout Israel. As part of the ministry’s investment incentive grant program, a grant was also awarded to the 'Nucha' hotel, and its opening represents another significant boost to the city both economically and in terms of tourism."
Avia Magen, CEO of Fattal Hotels, explained: "Nucha Boutique Hotel offers the perfect combination of elegance, intimacy, fine cuisine, and personal service at the highest level. Fattal Hotels invites you to experience Jerusalem like never before – through its landscapes, flavors, and stories, in a hotel that redefines the meaning of hospitality in the Holy City."
