Ingredients:
1 cup black lentils
2 bundles of Swiss chard – the green part – chopped
2 onions, finely chopped
2 potatoes, cooked and cut into small cubes
4 eggs
1/4 cup flour
Salt, pepper
For the sauce: 2 yogurts 7%
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon sumac
A few chopped mint leaves
4 tablespoons lemon juice
For frying: 1/2 cup oil
Preparation instructions:
1. Cook the lentils for about 10 minutes in a pot covered with water, until they soften slightly but are still firm. Drain well.
2. Mix all the patty ingredients well. Form small patties and fry for 3–4 minutes on each side.
3. Mix all the sauce ingredients and keep in the refrigerator.
4. Serve the patties warm with the sauce on top or on the side.
