Redmagic has launched its new gaming smartphone in China, and this time it introduces a particularly interesting technical innovation — an active liquid cooling system. Instead of relying on passive cooling through a vapor chamber, as in most advanced smartphones today, the device includes a ceramic micro pump that circulates liquid through internal channels to maintain a stable temperature during heavy use.

This is a technology that has not been seen before in commercial devices, except for a concept presented by OnePlus in 2023. To emphasize its uniqueness, Redmagic integrated a transparent ring on the back of the device that allows you to see the liquid in motion — a small design detail that catches the eye and clearly expresses the character of the device.

In addition to the cooling system, the smartphone includes an exceptionally large battery with a capacity of 8,000mAh — a high figure even compared to other high-performance models, such as those from Xiaomi and Oppo. This capacity is expected to provide extended usage time, which could be a clear advantage for those who play a lot or use the device for demanding tasks. The processor is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is currently at the top of the Android market, alongside a display with a refresh rate of 144Hz designed to deliver a smoother and clearer gaming experience.

Redmagic has also added 120W fast charging and vibrating shoulder buttons, intended to provide a better sense of control in games. Overall, this is a device that continues the company’s familiar line — a phone intended for gamers but built to suit everyday use as well. The company announced that it will reveal the global launch date on November 3, when we will also find out whether it will reach markets beyond China and at what price.
