As much as it may sound like a cliché, it’s unclear why Osem’s latest move didn’t happen sooner. Much sooner. On the other hand, so many chapters have already been written in the Bamba story that perhaps everything comes in its time—and rightly so.
The Bamba Munch series brings, for the first time to our world and our shelves, the yellow-orange snack in savory seasonings and flavors that resonate with the spirit of the times. That is, it speaks loudly, it wants to be heard, and it wants to join the ongoing snack party. Or, as Osem itself put it, “to offer a new and surprising eating experience that stretches the brand’s boundaries and provides multi-sensory excitement, combining the iconic, familiar base with bold, deep, and pronounced seasoning.”
The first ambassadors of the series highlight Cheddar cheese and Barbecue flavors, in 60 g and 150 g sizes. They shout “Munch” not just as a branding wrapper, and they definitely rise to the challenge of our collective attention deficit with a strong personality. Nearly two decades after the breakthrough that was Bamba with Nougat filling, all that remains is to pour the contents of the new bags into a large bowl—and keep going.
