The Jrose boutique hotel has recently opened in central Jerusalem. The hotel, located at 4 Agrippas Street, near the Mahane Yehuda Market, was established with an investment of millions of shekels and is intended for a young audience, couples, and businesspeople.
The hotel is the “younger sibling” of the veteran Eldan Hotel in the capital, and spans four floors, including 32 rooms in a classic-modern European style, with standard and premium finishing levels. The hotel features a quiet inner courtyard and a rooftop overlooking the cityscape.
How much will it cost: Price per night (without breakfast) found on the website: Starting from NIS 407 for a very small “Standard Velvet” room measuring 9 sq m. A slightly “larger” room measuring 11 sq m called “Superior Blush” will cost NIS 492 per night. And if you wish to stay in a “Premium Rose” room measuring 17 sq m, you will pay NIS 576. For breakfast at the nearby café, you will receive a voucher.
Breakfast is served at a café
Jrose is located in a central and strategic location—between the Mahane Yehuda Market, the market’s restaurants and food tours, and the modern boulevard of the city center. As part of the connection to the surroundings and the Jerusalem atmosphere, the hotel’s breakfast is served at the nearby Helen café.
The hotel, located along the light rail line, allows guests from Tel Aviv and the surrounding area to arrive at the hotel entrance within an hour (about 40 minutes by the high-speed train from Tel Aviv to Navon Station, and from there a short continuation by light rail to the hotel). This accessibility eliminates the need for private car travel, saving traffic congestion on the way to Jerusalem and within it.
The hotel’s name—Jrose—is a combination of Jerusalem and Rose—the hotel’s branding concept, led by Itai Dahan, owner of the branding company Didea, which specializes in hospitality and culinary branding, incorporates floral and rose motifs throughout every corner of the hotel, from the delicate signage, through the corridor design, to the smallest details in the rooms, giving the hotel a unique character and an aesthetic, photogenic presence. The hotel’s design, planned by designer Aliza Cohen, is characterized by a young, modern, and meticulous line that combines visual harmony and maximum comfort.
“Jrose Hotel was born out of a desire to create a boutique experience that speaks the contemporary language of Jerusalem,” says Adi Ben Shitrit, the hotel’s CEO. “In the establishment process, we insisted on a high level of finishing that blends with a young and dynamic spirit, which characterizes the renewal of the city center.”
