Ahead of the Unpacked Event to be held next week, technology giant Samsung revealed initial details about the photography capabilities of its new flagship series. The company introduced a unified camera system based on Galaxy AI, designed to centralize capture, editing and sharing processes under one intuitive interface, thereby eliminating the need to switch between external editing applications.

Among the new tools presented by the company is the option to turn photos taken in daylight into night scenes within seconds, as well as the ability to restore missing parts of objects within the image באמצעות generative completion. In addition, the system will enable seamless merging of multiple images into a single result and a significant improvement in photo quality under challenging lighting conditions.

The new device series, which includes the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra models, is expected this year to focus on software and artificial intelligence upgrades rather than dramatic hardware changes. Alongside the photography capabilities, the devices are expected to offer deeper integration of AI tools throughout the operating system, with an emphasis on on-device data processing to improve speed and privacy.

The official unveiling of the devices will take place at the company’s event in San Francisco on February 25, where Samsung is expected to present the full capabilities of the new processors and the strengthening collaboration with Google in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
