The Biga café chain is expanding its range of gluten-free products and is launching, in honor of Purim, a gluten-free hamantaschen package, intended for celiacs, those avoiding gluten and anyone looking for an easier-to-digest alternative without giving up the holiday pastry.
The package includes a mix of four classic fillings: Poppy seed, dates, halva and chocolate. The chain notes that the pastries are made from designated gluten-free ingredients while maintaining a crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside, so that, according to them, it is not noticeable that this is an adapted version.
The move is part of the expansion of the gluten-free pastry category at Biga, with the aim of making seasonal confectionery products accessible also to an audience that avoids wheat, especially during holiday periods when the selection available to them is relatively limited.
How much: NIS 55 for a package of 8 units
Where: The product will be sold in a limited edition during the Purim holiday at all branches of the chain
