In the week in which the competitor DJI announced the Osmo Pocket 4, GoPro announces a series of cameras that invades the competitor’s territory – the new MISSION1 series, which bridges a gap between the action cameras for which the company became known, and the world of professional photography and brings GoPro into a new territory of professional content production.

The MISSION1 cameras, which are a new product line that also includes accessories, are based on 1 inch sensors and a resolution of 50 megapixels, as well as a new image processor named GP3. the new series is intended for improved performance in difficult lighting conditions, improved dynamic range, high sharpness and detail.

The new cameras from GoPro allow video shooting up to 8K, when the Pro model allows shooting even at 60 frames per second and at full 8K resolution. the series also excels in long shooting times and stable operation even under high load, and in the top model there is also support for Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lenses common among Lumix Panasonic, OM System and others – as well as an Open Gate mode, which allows use of the entire sensor area.
