The home pool market has experienced significant growth in recent years, with more families choosing to install private pools in their yards. In parallel with this growth, there is an increasing need for efficient maintenance solutions to replace grueling manual labor. ECOVACS ROBOTICS, known primarily for its robotic vacuum cleaners, is now leveraging the technological expertise it has accumulated and launching the ULTRAMARINE P1 in Israel, designed for comprehensive cleaning of residential swimming pools.

The new robot is based on a suction system offering a capacity of 4800GPH, alongside a dedicated flow channel designed to prevent clogs from leaves, sand, and dirt. The device's filtration system integrates two stages: An outer mesh of 180 microns to capture large particles, and an inner 3-micron filter designed to trap dust and tiny particles. According to the manufacturer's data, the system is capable of handling more than ten different types of dirt and achieves high collection efficiency.

To ensure thorough cleaning of all parts of the pool, the device is equipped with four independent roller brushes located at its front and rear. These brushes provide grip on various surfaces, including fiberglass and stone, allowing the robot to climb pool walls, steps, and slopes. The device also includes assist wheels that enable it to pass over underwater obstacles up to 5.5 centimeters high, such as drain openings or lighting fixtures.

The robot is powered by a lithium battery with a capacity of 5200mAh, which provides up to three hours of continuous operation in eco mode, and coverage of a floor area of up to 180 square meters in a single charging cycle. Navigation is performed using a smart system based on an IMU sensor, which monitors the robot's position and calculates an efficient route to prevent unnecessary repetition over the same areas.

In terms of durability, the robot includes ten different layers of protection against wear, chlorine, corrosion, and UV radiation, alongside full waterproofing under the IP68 standard. The device operates cordlessly, and it is controlled via a dedicated application that allows selection between cleaning programs and scheduling. The model is officially imported to Israel by the Ronlight company, and its recommended retail price stands at NIS 2,999.
