René Slotkin, one of the few surviving ‘Mengele twins,’ dies at 84
Born René Guttmann in 1937 in Teplice-Sanov, Czechoslovakia, René was only 3 years old when he and his twin sister Irene were deported to Theresienstadt with their mother, Ita, in 1941.
