Education Minister Naftali Bennett spoke at the Yad Vashem International Holocaust Memorial Day commemorations on Thursday, saying that "the Jewish lesson of the Holocaust is that the Jews and the State of Israel will defend ourselves by ourselves."
"We expect our friends to stand with Israel," he continued.
Bennett spoke on the recent rise in antisemitic attacks worldwide, explaining that there is a new type of antisemitism that attacks Israel rather than Jews.
