WATCH: Netanyahu meets with Jewish leaders in London
The prime minister thanks community members for being a bridge between Israel and the UK.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Sunday morning with members of London's Jewish community, on his final day of a state visit to the UK.Netanyahu, his wife Sara and their accompanying delegation held a meeting with the Board of Deputies of British Jews, in which he thanked them for being "a bridge between Britain and Israel, between Britain and Zionism."The group's president, Jonathan Arkush, said that the Jewish community in the UK is a strong community. "Though it constitutes only half of a percent of Britain's population, we have great confidence in ourselves and in Israel," he said.Earlier, Netanyahu met with Britain's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and thanked him for his assistance in countering anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Netanyahu was in London to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, which helped pave the way for the establishment of the Jewish state.
