The Old City's Jewish Quarter, and indeed much of Jerusalem shuts up shop on Shabbat. But we met a professional Israeli tour guide with a particular love for food culture who took us into the Christian and Muslim quarters on a Saturday to taste some hidden delights and to highlight the harmony of understanding the culture of others through food.
