A 16-year-old girl who was hospitalized two weeks ago in Petah Tikva's Schneider Children's Medical Center after returning to Israel from the US was diagnosed Thursday with tuberculosis.
The hospital's medical team has begun testing the girl's family, as well as the children who shared her hospital room.
In addition, doctors were concerned that passengers on the same flight as the patient may have been infected. American authorities have been notified.
