Counterfeit version of stomach pain drug being sold illegally

The Health Ministry issued a warning on Monday about No-Spa, a medication for stomach pain not listed in its drug registry and not approved for import, sales or use.
In December, an airline passenger from Tashkent was caught by customs officials with thousands of such pills marked No-Spa, which are manufactured by Sanofi in France. Lab tests showed they were counterfeit and can cause danger to health.
The pills are apparently sold illegally in markets to patients who used to take the drug abroad.
