Ministry of Health report: 'Israelis live longer'

A new report published by the Ministry of Health reveals that Israelis' life expectancy out-runs that of the French, British and Dutch. The average life expectancy in Israel is 80 years, one the highest on average in Europe. Only Switzerland, Iceland and San Marino have higher life expectancies. The report also states that Israelis work on average more than their European counterparts. Israelis are absent from work due to illness only four days per year on average, in comparison to 18 sick days taken in Spain, 15 in Germany and 13 in Hungary.
