WHO: Israeli men rank second in life expectancy

Israeli men have the second longest average life expectancy, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), Israel Radio reported overnight Friday. After San Marino, whose men are expected to live for 80 years, Israeli men live on average until the age of 78, said WHO. The report did not give data on Israeli women. Japanese women are reported to live the longest, at 86 years. Both Sierra Leone and Swaziland ranked lowest in the world for the life expectancies of both men and women, who live up to an average of 37 years.
