Six infants infected with measles in Bat Ayin

Six toddlers were infected with measles in the Bat Ayin settlement near Gush Etzion, according to a Health Ministry statement Monday..
The measles epidemic, which has touched over 3000 Israelis in the last year, was reported to have infected only one person in Israel since the beginning of January.
Despite the cases announced Monday raising the January figures to seven infections, there has nevertheless been a significant decrease in the number of measles cases overall. The numbers of infections have dropped by 94% since December.
