12th anniversary of Oklahoma City bombing Thurs.

Survivors and relatives of victims will gather to mark the 12th anniversary of Oklahoma City bombing on Thursday, three days after the deadliest shooting rampage in modern US history shocked the nation. Mourners gather each year April 19 at the former site of the Murrah Federal Building to observe the anniversary of the worst act of domestic terrorism in US history, which killed 168 people and injured hundreds more. Participants will observe 168 seconds of silence, followed by family members reading the names of their lost loved ones. Organizers said attention also will focus on the deaths of 32 people at Virginia Tech on Monday during a rampage by a man who then killed himself.
