Police say a group of 25 Tibetan demonstrators has been detained after trying to force their way into the Chinese consulate in Munich.
The protesters tore down a Chinese flag and set it alight. Police spokesman Markus Dengler says there were no injuries or other damage.
Consulate employees were able to keep out the protesters and alert police. Police say Monday's protest was spontaneous.
