Bus crash kills eight in Brazil

Brazilian police say seven adults and a one-month-old baby were killed when a passenger bus sped off a road and plummeted down a 15-meter ravine. Police officer Franckson Maciel says that four men, three women and the baby were killed in the crash early Saturday morning in Brazil's northern Roraima state. He says 23 others were injured and hospitalized. The bus had been carrying 37 passengers. Police are questioning the driver, who was also injured, to determine the cause of the crash.
