State media said Sunday that a landslide in southwestern China left at least 15 people dead and 34 others missing.
The Xinhua News Agency reported the deadly torrent of mud and rocks hit Chuxiong city in Yunnan province. The area has been pounded by heavy rains in recent days.
The agency said authorities are still determining the exact number of casualties. It gave no other details.
