EasyJet announced Tuesday its launch of a Tel Aviv-Manchester route, that will begin on November 1. The low-cost carrier will operate two weekly flights between Manchester and Tel Aviv on Mondays and Thursdays. The one-way starting fares are €37.99 Tel Aviv-Manchester and €82.99 Manchester-Tel Aviv, including taxes and administration fees.Flights will depart Manchester on Mondays at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Tel Aviv at 8:20 p.m. From Tel Aviv flights will depart at 8:20 pm and will arrive in Manchester at 12:55 a.m. The Thursday flights will depart Manchester at 11:40 am, arriving in Tel Aviv at 6:55 p.m, and from Tel Aviv flight will depart at 7:50 pm, arriving in Manchester at 11:30 pm.Tickets will be available from Wednesday, April 19.EasyJet has increased flights on its London Luton-Tel Aviv route from seven to nine flights a week, and operates four weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Geneva and Basel in Switzerland. The airline says that it has carried more than 270,000 passengers on flights to and from Israel since inaugurating its Tel Aviv routes in November 2009.
