Myanmar's military junta called for vigilance against "terrorists" on Thursday after two mysterious explosions shook parks in the country's largest city.
The comments published in the state-run Myanma Ahlin Daily newspaper were the first official reaction to the bombings that occurred Tuesday evening in Yangon.
No causalities were reported from the blasts, which occurred near busy thoroughfares, and there were no claims of responsibility.
The government usually blames bombings on ethnic militants battling the military-run government.
