Officials say 12 killed in bus crash in Portugal

A bus collided with a car on a highway in central Portugal on Monday, killing at least 12 people, authorities said. Alzira Serrasqueira, the governor of the Castelo Branco region, about 200 kilometers northeast of Lisbon, told Portuguese state television RTP the bus rolled down a slope, flipping over several times after the collision. At least 24 people were hurt, RTP reported.
