The Philippine military found four children of one of Southeast Asia's most-wanted terror suspects, who has evaded a US-backed offensive in the country's south, a military spokesman said Friday.
The wife and two children of Dulmatin, an al-Qaida-linked operative suspected in the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings, were detained on the southern island of Jolo in October and deported to Indonesia a month later.
Their four other children were found on the nearby islands of Tawi Tawi, regional military spokesman Maj. Eugene Batara said Friday, without elaborating.
Their ages were not immediately available, but they were believed to be minors. Officials said they were expected to be transferred to southern military headquarters in Zamboanga city later Friday.
