Polish president taken to hospital for fever, weakness

Poland's President Lech Kaczynski was hospitalized early Monday for tests. Kaczynski was taken to the hospital "in connection with a worsening of his health," presidential spokesman Marcin Rosolowski was quoted as saying by the news agency PAP. Wojciech Lubinski, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry hospital, where Kaczynski was taken, said the president was suffering from a high fever and weakness.
