US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld refused to respond to Iran's announcement Tuesday that it had successfully enriched uranium for the first time, saying that he would wait for the opinions of American experts on the issue.
Rumsfeld also refused to answer questions regarding media reports that the United States planned to attack Iran, calling them imaginary but saying that the issue was of great concern to the administration.
