Gillian Gibbons, a British teacher jailed in Sudan after she allowed her students to name a teddy bear Muhammad, was pardoned Monday and was set to be released from prison, Sky News reported.
The report followed a meeting between Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and Lord Nazir Ahmed, Muslim representatives from Britain's House of Lords, and Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir at his presidential palace.
