UK terror suspect's lawyer slams police for leaks

Lawyers for an Indian doctor held in connection with the failed terrorist plots in Britain on Sunday accused police of leaking damaging allegations to make his client look guilty. Mohamed Haneef has been charged with supporting a terrorist organization over the attempted bombings in London and Glasgow. Haneef, 27, is accused of giving his cell phone SIM card to his second cousin who has been charged in Britain with withholding information about a terrorist attack. He was granted bail by a magistrate last week, but the government sought to keep him in custody by canceling his visa.
