The 13-year-old boy who was accidentally shot in Rishon Lezion on Sunday was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning.
On Sunday, MDA teams were called to an open area in the city, where a 13-year-old boy was found critically injured as a result of a gunshot. While resuscitation efforts are underway at Wolfson Hospital, it is suspected that the boy was injured after his two friends played with a gun.
How did the teenagers get a gun?
According to initial suspicion, the teens were handling a firearm belonging to one of their parents in an open area when one of them was shot.
Two teenagers were detained by Israel Police following the accident.
