A vehicle hit three civilians near Beersheba while fleeing from police officers on Monday.

Police officers chased after the fleeing vehicle in Tel Sheva. The chase ended when an officer opened fire, hitting the suspect in the shoulder, injuring them.

An initial police investigation indicates that the suspect was fleeing due to not possess a valid driver's license.

Those injured were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment.

Ben-Gvir, Israel Police chief establish checkpoints in area

On Sunday night, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir arrived in Lakiya, near Beersheba, along with Israel Police chief Daniel Levi, establishing checkpoints in the area in order to prevent the escape and movement of armed criminals operating in the vicinity.

The head of the Lakiya local council denounced this decision.
