The Foreign Ministry said on Saturday that it's on its way to an accident site in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, where a bus carrying 10 Israelis was overturned.

Initial reports say that six people were injured in the accident, and one of them was in serious condition. The others are in moderate to mild condition.

KAN reported that all six were taken to local hospitals and treated for their injuries. The critically injured victim's condition has not improved at this time, KAN noted.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN News reported that all six victims were in their twenties, and that none of the victims' identities had been announced.

Bus in Thailand overturns, six Israelis injured

The families of the six injured people will be flown to Thailand, KAN reported. Israel’s consul general in Thailand is en route to the scene.

"The Department for Israelis in Distress Abroad and the embassy in Thailand are in continuous contact with the injured on the ground and their families in Israel, local authorities, medical officials, and insurance companies," Ynet reported the consul said.

On Sunday, an Israeli father was killed, and his son was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Thailand on Thursday.

This is a developing story.
