The IDF demolished the home of terrorist Mahmoud Yusef Abed in the village of Halhoul, near Hebron, on Monday.
According to an IDF statement, forces from the Yahalom unit operated during the night to destroy Abed’s house, due to his terror shooting attack perpetrated at the Gush junction in July.
“Abed carried out the shooting attack together with another terrorist on July 10, 2025, at the Gush junction in the Etzion Brigade area, where Shalev Zevuloni, of blessed memory, was murdered,” the IDF stated.
In December 2025, the IDF demolished a house belonging to the other terrorist responsible for killing Zevuloni.
“IDF forces operated in the village of Bazariya in the Shomron Brigade to demolish the home of the terrorist Malek Ibrahim Salem,” a statement read at the time.
Terrorists were former police officers returning to West Bank after studies
Salem and Abed were Palestinian Authority police officers who recently returned to the West Bank after completing their studies in Qatar, according to Palestinian media reports at the time.
Eyewitnesses said the terrorists arrived in a stolen car and stabbed Zevuloni, a security guard, outside the Rami Levi supermarket. The assailants then snatched the guard’s handgun and exchanged fire with a soldier and an armed civilian before being killed at the scene.
