A well-known singer was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of harassing and threatening his former partner amid issues related to their relationship, Walla learned for the first time on Sunday.
The investigation began after the singer’s former partner went to the police in the Yarkon District over the weekend and filed a complaint against him. According to her, after their relationship ended, the singer continued contacting her repeatedly and did not stop trying to communicate with her.
Following the complaint, officers from the Lev Tel Aviv police station summoned the singer for questioning under caution on Friday on suspicion of harassment and threats. During the questioning, he gave his account of events. He was later confronted with the complainant, who presented her allegations to him.
