Police confiscated two guns from a house in Hebron after conducting a search in conjunction with IDF forces, according to the Israel Police spokesperson.
One gun was a Carl Gustav rifle, the other a pistol. Security forces also found various kinds of ammunition.
While the weapons do not seem to have been intended for use in an impending terror attack, police cautioned that any illegally-held weapons may be used for such attacks, in addition to non-nationalistic criminal activity.
"Israel Police and security forces will continue the determined and uncompromising fight [against illegal weapons]," read a statement from the police.
