17-year-old Kalansuwa student dies in basketball pole collapse

A 17-year-old student at the Atidim School in Kalansuwa was killed Tuesday when a pole on a basketball court fell on him.
Initial reports state that he was mortally wounded him when the fixture collapsed as he was hanging from the hoop.
A Magen David Adom team at the scene pronounced his death after extensive resuscitation attempts.
