Head of the Central Elections Committee Justice Dorit Beinish on Sunday pledged to employ close to 40,000 people for the upcoming Israeli elections. The unemployed, in addition to those who were employed during previous elections, will merit preferential treatment.
Justice Beinish further pointed out that special privileges would be given to community workers to fill the position of committee secretary, a role to which she places the utmost importance.
In contrast, Beinish declared that security guards would not be part of the newly created jobs. This, she stressed, is the responsibility of the Israel Police, which will fill these positions using private security companies.
