Arab municipal employees to launch general strike

Arab municipal employees will not provide sanitation, education or health services to residents Monday. The workers are striking to protest the money owed to them that have been delayed. At the same time, representatives of the local councils intend to hold a protest outside government offices in Jerusalem, Army Radio reported. The board of municipalities are protesting the non-fulfillment of an agreement they signed at the beginning of the year with the Ministry of the Interior. According to the agreement, the Ministry agreed to transfer NIS 1,00,200,000. According to the board, only a portion of the money has been transferred.
