Ayalon highway backed up in both directions

The Ayalon highway in Tel Aviv was at a near standstill on Tuesday night as a result of the hundreds of thousands of people who flocked to Tel Aviv to watch the largest fireworks show in Israeli history. The southbound lanes of the Ayalon were backed up from the Rokach to the Kibbutz Galuyot junctions. All the exits off the northbound lanes were advancing extremely slowly.
