Barak: Unlike Livni, I could've formed a government in three weeks

Defense Minister Ehud Barak took a snipe at Kadima chairwoman and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Saturday, saying that had he been tapped to form a coalition, he would've succeeded in doing it within three weeks. "A man like Peres would've established a government in three days, and I could've done it in three weeks," Barak said. "I put together a government when there was a majority against me in the Knesset, not like the majority of 70 [seats] that Tzipi Livni had." "Livni is honest and businesslike, but that's not enough to lead the State," he added.
