Blair: World wants two state solution

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Monday following his meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that the world wanted a two state solution to the Middle East conflict. "The international community agrees on a two state solution on the basis of democracy and the renunciation of violence," said the British prime minister. Blair expressed his sympathies for the fatal train crash and for former prime minister Ariel Sharon's incapacitation, saying, "our thoughts are with the former prime minister."
