The High Court of Justice will reassess on Thursday a petition by the Movement for Quality Government against the lenient sentence given to former MK Naomi Blumenthal.
The watchdog group claims Blumenthal received preferential treatment when President Shimon Peres reduced her prison sentence and commuted it to community service following a recommendation by Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann.
