Bush calls for the end of the Israeli "occupation" of Arab land

US President George W. Bush called on Thursday for the end of the "occupation" of Arab land by the Israeli military.
Summing up meetings with both sides in the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, Bush said a peace accord will require "painful political concessions by both sides."
Resolving the status of Jerusalem will be tough, he said. "Now is the time to make difficult choices."
