China's special envoy to the Middle East said Friday that during a recent trip to the region he urged the Palestinians to work toward the release of the three IDF soldiers captured by Hamas-linked operatives last summer.
"We believe if the Palestinians could take the lead, it would be conducive to them," Sun Bigan said, referring to the release of the soldiers, which he said he hoped would happen "as soon as possible."
