Classes in Eilat high schools cancelled after principle attacked

Classes were cancelled in all Eilat high schools on Sunday after a principle was attacked by the mother of a student. According to reports, the mother tried to strangle the administrator in the courtyard of Goldwater High School. When other school officials heard the principle screaming, they rushed to her aid. The principle was lightly wounded in the attack, while the mother was taken into custody by police for questioning. Following the incident, the mayor of Eilat cancelled classes throughout the city.
